How kind of you, Bert.  Saw the news coverage - how horrible for the people in Texas in Harvey's path.

Great painting.

Stay safe.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Super painting Bert.  The news is just heart breaking.  Heard one town was completely destroyed and at least two people lost their lives.  The storm is just sitting there and the amount of rain that will fall is mind-boggling.  We are making donations to help.  We were lucky to get through Sandy and know the amount of help that will be needed once the storm passes.

Good to hear you are still above water Bert.

Great painting of Harvey the Hippo! Very appropriate to the occasion.  ;) Well done and wonderful of you to donate any monies to Red Cross.

Love the Hippo - and how appropriate, since he's in water, than the proceeds would go to those devastated by this hurricane. Watching the news with the flooded streets in Houston is unreal.  Sending lots of prayers to all...and making a donation to the American Red Cross, too...

Bless you Bert for the donation to the Red Cross. The devastation that people have experienced is just too terrible to contemplate.  I saw your hippo in the gallery this morning but in your posts here, as in others too, there is just a blank square and when I click on it, it says "loading" but never loads.  So I don't know what the problem is.  However, I thought it was lovely.

Bert, I wish I could see Harvey the hippo. He sounds delightful but I missed the gallery post, and now your painting won't display on the website just as Patricia described. The same thing is happening with a lot of Louisa's paintings. Very disappointing for us fans! Hope the clean after the other Harvey is not too traumatic. It looks ghastly.

Love this painting. It was worth waiting for.... if you are following the weather, your next painting for Red Cross should be Irma the iguana. Hope Harvey has sold for a high price.
