Old Tree

Lillian:
Pat, you produced another lovely drawing.  For me, it has a very calming effect.

Sit back, have a  :coffee: and just see how relaxing it is just looking with non-critical eyes.   :flowers:

Gloria:
Pat you are so good at your drawing. Simply fabulous. Congratulate yourself.

Bhavna:
Again you did a wonderful job Pat

Val:
Love your tree Pat.        My biggest problem is I have so many things I want to draw and paint. You've just reminded me of some wonderful trees from the Indian River in Dominica. Another one on the list!  ;D
Hope I can do  half as well as you.   O0

Tony (ASM):
Pat, I've mentioned before that you punish yourself to perfection. Your magnificent work is the result. All you have to do is take a break between missions. And, while you are in the throws of your work, look for feedback as you go. Post stages of your work and let others be your critics. This can be your guiding light. But ultimately, you are the Master of your own work...and it shows. Brilliant.
If I can suggest one tweak (be disciplined and restrict your time to it though) it is, where the roots meet the water. I'd put in just a few high white horizontal ripples. I think this would help separate and make the water really stand out and the reflection better still. I'd also shade the rocks just a little bit smoother on the left. Then get it framed!
What do you think?
