Thank you everyone. This venture took Mrs. Ann, Mrs. Tina and Myself a day and a half to complete.  We started with a three tier old plant stand made out of wrot iron then bunched up newspaper to fill that in then took duck tape and wrapped it around to hold he shape we wanted so when we put the cloth on her it wouldn't sink in.  then we took a curtain rod bent it around my shoulders to get the shape we wanted then taped that into place and wired it.  we took ployfill and wrapped chicken wire and wrapped the whole this to about her waist.  The plant stand had a little knob on the top so that is what we attached the Styrofoam wig form on.  we then took rubber hand washing gloves and stuffed them for hands and attached them to the chicken wire arms, we practiced to see how quick we could dress her before the POP started to dry.  Then I made up a loose batch of plaster of Paris and we dipped a prewet gown I made out of a tablecloth and slipped it over her form and positioned it the way we wanted it, then I made a thicker batch of the Plaster of Paris and pre wet a queen size sheet in that and one extra Lady Mrs. Carolyn came and helped us lift that into place till we could get the wrap positioned right.  the gown was not as heavy as the outer wrap was, I pulled my shoulder muscle so bad I couldn't lift it that night and was in a lot of pain, stayed sore for about a week.  The outer wrap was about 125 pounds wet but between the four of us we got it on her. we took a child's leggings for the forearm area dipped them as well and put those on her arms. Then we placed the head on her dipped her wig, and added her torch which was made out of a spindle and plastic and toilet paper roll, LOL   We wired her into place to the ceiling rafters till she dried.  We let her dry took about a week, then we spray painted her plastic face with fleck stone and I mixed up some patina paint for her then we painted herthen I repainted her with the over tones of other colors for depth in color.  we put her on the stand once the men moved her for us, she is one heavy 7 foot tall gal.

I forgot the funniest part. she needed Breast  :o and we didn't want to have to form them with chicken wire  :-\  so we turned to the left overs from the youth yard sale. Thanks to youths left overs we used a white teddy bear and a brown teddy bear, their bottoms were the perfect firmness and shape O0 , She was then a full figure gal   Oh, and we also used a shoe for her foot.

Anya,
See post #62 and #63 wher I describe how we made her and of what.  The article didn't really say much about her construction in detail.

Heade off to Morning Service

I watched the rule of thirds and it opens up quite a new way of looking at pictures and even when I watch television. Now I understand how it works anyhow I do in the theori, now I'll  try to make it work in my paintings. Nolan did you dip your head in the paintbasket?  It suits you!
PS I do not know if I put this message int the right place. Im am trying to learn how the forum works, but have not quite got it yet.
Thanks a lot.

 :bigwelcome: to Paintbasket, Anki!

:2funny:  I love your sense of humor!  Nolan is up to date in many ways, including fashion.   :)

He's also a very busy boy but reasonable to deal with.  I think he'll excuse a new member if posting in the wrong place.  He will simply move it where it belongs.  Occasionally, he's not so reasonable and chides us for all the posts he has to move so we try to be on our best behaviour.  This might be the first time he uses his  :knuppel2:  on me.

I'm glad you found Paintbasket.

If when you sign in, click on the 'Forum' heading, then scroll almost all the way down until you see the heading 'Forum Tech Stuff'.  Below that, you can access all you need to know about how to navigate around the site, submit your artwork, etc.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you.  Welcome to the family.

:bigwelcome: Anki,  also there is a section at the top of the forum for New Members to read first. You may find additional information there.
Nice to have a new addition to the scoreboard:  Anki..... 1; Nolan....0 !   >:D   :2funny:
You'll have no trouble fitting in, and just ask if you need a hand or three with anything. There are lots of helping hands and minds about the forum.
Looking forward to seeing your works, come join us often and have a little jocularity while you paint.   :painting:

Thanks Val, how kind of you. I'll remember that I can ask for help. I agre with you that Paintbasket is a fantastic way of learning painting. I start all over from the beginning with Nolan and Dennis and I just finished the Tulip that I'll post soon and now I am painting the sunset.
