Newsletter Commentary
« on: April 21, 2012, 06:06:26 AM »
I thought I'd put this commentary in the "About me" Forum folder as there is no folder for Newsletter praise and gratitude.  Great was my surprise to have my Kitchen-Coffee-Painting selected as painting of the week!  I don't know how the paintings are selected, but I am very much honored and pleased that you have chosen one of mine.

I have always stared at the chosen weekly letters thinking what amazing work some people are capable of, and now I find myself humbled.  Thank you Nolan and Dennis - I appreciate your recognition since I have learnt so much from you guys!  Your teachings and tips have brought my quality of art up to this level, and I wish there were more teachers like you around - you make art so much more accessible!  Thank you.   :flowers:

Hello again Smartie,

I also didn't know where to post to give you all the praise you deserve for this great painting, so when I saw it, I added my comment at the bottom of the photo in your album.

And here I am to congratulate you.   :congrats:

All the photos in your album are awesome!  You are a very good artist.   :flowers:

Thanks everyone for your amazing input!  I am not new to the site as you may think @Topdoginuk, but I am limited in my time spent online.  So when I have an opportunity to spend time with Paintbasket, I don't always know which post the chatting is happening on, and then move over to the webinars...

But it seems I just need to figure out the forum!  :idiot2:

Thank you for the compliments on the painting, but the inspiration was actually Nolan's still life challenge and helpful hints video!  LOL!  Which I was later told was an old challenge!  But I have learnt a lot from the experience and I'm busy with the next one in the series at the moment and enjoying it!  And if you look at my gallery @Lillian, you'll see I'm not a still life person - paintbasket made me so!

Now that I'm done upchucking a novel, I'll see you guys around the forum - hopefully there is some chatter going on right now!   :run:
