Going through my files I came across this article I wrote a few years (7) back and I thought it appropriate to add it to the Forum. Let me know what you think of it, and how it applies to you personally. Enjoy.

Dennis, if everyone lived by these standards and principles our world would be a much better place.

I hope your words of wisdom will bring success to many artists.

Thank you!  You are respected, admired and loved.   :1hug:

Very Interesting Dennis.  O0
Wisdom and an open mind are forged over our life's passage of time. From these learned lessons we shape our path ahead and, pass on the best parts to future generations. But, in my experience, life isn't all rosey and, our plans can be scuppered easily.
Throughout my childhood I watched and experienced bad human behaviour and hypocrisy. I spent all those years wondering 'WHY'? Why are many people were so horrible, deceitful, jealous, greedy, selfish, nasty and, spitefully favour & protect their own? I wondered this for many years without understanding reasons, even into my early 20's.
Millions of questions I never thought I'd get an explanation for until, one day, I came across a book called 'The Selfish Gene' by Richard Dawkins. This confirmed and accounted for everything I'd experienced in life, even to this day. It confirms and accounts for everything about the world in which we live, albeit not very pleasant in many respects. (I'm aware that Richard Dawkins is Agnostic and religious people despise this but, It's only his sharing that's helped me understand and, face the cruel reality of life).
We have choices in life for dignity and respect in the face of tyranny and financial pressures but, just like Dennis advices, it's our inner contentment that counts and, the buck of bad stops with each and every individual one of us, if we want it.
We can thread genuine altruism into the tapestry of life and shape a better place. A world that can be better in spite of our selfish gene traits.
In the grand scheme of things, who knows what's right?
Thanks Dennis  :thankyou:
