W/C Colour Wheel...is there a difference?

I have an old colour wheel that I bought 3? years ago when I used to have oils. I still use it for reference when I get stuck. It does not denote whether it is for use with w/c, oils etc.  I have seen on some sites that there are colour wheels for oil, and ones for w/c, is there really any difference between the two?

Can't remember ever seeing a colour wheel that is specially for watercolour. To the best of my knowledge colour is colour no matter for what mixable medium. I have one bought colour wheel that I bought long ago and use it for any medium.

You can, however, make you own colour wheel using the paints you have in your art box. This is the best colour wheel because then you know and see the exact colour you will be getting from your own paints. I do this often when I buy new makes of paints. You can even have sets of colour wheels using the different mixes of reds, blues and yellows - then you you come back to the 6-colour wheel I added to the forum

Thanks Dennis. I sometimes go back to the old colour wheel and find the colour I'm looking for and it saves me a lot of time and  expense guessing what to mix. Gives me a close starting point. 
Boy do I need all the help I can get!
