Ask a question:

How do the affiliate groups work?

Solution We want active affiliates promoting our products. The best way to do that is to incentivise our affiliates to work as hard as they can to actively promote our products. The more you sell, the more money you earn from each sale.

To do that we have different affiliate groups : Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond.

Each group has a commission multiplier which increases the commission that is earned for each sale made. The multipliers are :

Silver : 1
Gold : 1.1
Platinum : 1.3
Diamond : 1.55

When you become an affiliate, you automatically start as a Silver affiliate. This gives you a multiplier of 1.

So let's say you sell a DVD which costs $47. The base commission for that DVD is set at 45%.

As a Silver affiliate you would then earn 45% of the $47 sale = $21.15c

A Gold affiliate would earn $21.15 * 1.1 (multiplier) = $23.50c
A Platinum affiliate would earn $21.15 * 1.3 = $28.20c
A Diamond affiliate would earn $21.15 * 1.55 = $32.90c for selling the same product.

How do we decide what affiliate group you are in?

It is all based on total commission . New affiliates are placed in the Silver group until they have earned $1000 worth of commission. They then automatically move to the Gold group until the next group level is reached and so on.

Here are the thresholds required to move to the next group :

Silver : $0 to $1000 total commission
Gold : $1001 to $5000 total commission
Platinum : $5001 to $10,000 total commission
Diamond : $10,001+ in total commission .
